Atchafalaya is a true New Orleans neighborhood eatery where the eclectic yet elegant atmosphere is only outshone by the attentive service and delicious local fare. Nestled under the oaks on the edges of the Irish Channel, Magazine Street, and historic Garden districts, this hidden gem is one the best contemporary Creole dining experiences that one can find in the city.                                         Can not say enough about the service. First time visit for a Sunday brunch, Luis did an outstanding job making the experience complete. Food was outstanding, presentation outstanding and great atmosphere. Will definitely be revisiting!

                                        Distinctly regional cuisine but executed at a higher level than the many excellent, traditional restaurants in town. Not a fusion, more like a modern, more sophisticated take on classic New Orleans cooking. Still rich and flavorful, but with more precision - if that makes any sense? Ambiance is wonderful and the service attentive.
