In case you haven't travelled with us before, let us introduce ourselves. We are a fine dining restaurant located in the heart of South Yarra.

We first opened our doors in 2016, when a then, 22-year-old Charlie Carrington, decided to create a restaurant that changed cuisine every few months. Dubbed the most "Ambitious Restaurant Opening" of the year, Atlas Dining quickly rose to cult status. Within a month, Charlie became the youngest Australian chef to be awarded a Chef's Hat.

Eight years on, and (now) 25 cuisines later, Atlas Dining continues to be one of the most unique restaurants around.

We offer affordable fine dining, but most importantly, an unforgettable experience that helps guests' tastebuds travel the world.

    Atlas Tex-Mex from January 2025. We are creating a menu inspired by Chef Charlie Carrington's two favourite cuisines Mexican & Texan. This menu offers our usual 4 course Set Menu for $95pp Tuesday-Saturday as well as our first time ever offering an Ala Carte menu Tuesday-Thursday from March. This Ala Carte menu is called 'Atlas On Fire' and features dishes from previous cuisines as well as a taste of the Tex-Mex dishes ready for you to choose your own adventure!

    Food was fantastic, beautifully presented, very tasty and just enough. Our only criticism would be the noise levels. Half way through our meal a large table of people turned up and the resultant noise levels were very high. Not that pleasant to be honest. The staff did apologise but couldn’t really do anything about it unfortunately. Other than that I would highly recommend Atlas.

    Atlas Dining is one of, if not our favourite in Melbourne. It's our go to for relaxed fine dining where you can experience new cuisines and flavours in a great space and with amazing staff. It was our first time eating there in a while just due to life, but it was so good to be back! We love both real Mexican and Tex Mex, and this felt like such a fantastic combination of the two. All the courses were outstanding, but special praise is definitely for the woodfired pecan pie. It was incredible!! Our only complaint is that we could have eaten a couple more each it was so good!!

    This was our 8th visit and always outstanding food and service. Special mention to Michael on the front floor who is always super friendly yet professional. Texmex menu was up there with one of the best.

    Everything about this place is happy. The staff are brilliant and cheerful. The chef appears every now and then making jokes and small talk with the guests and those guests are all smiling. And this is because the food is sooo good. Interesting, well melded flavours, good quality ingredients. Just a great experience. Can't fault the place.

    The food was amazing and nice to experience Tex Mex. On our visit the restaurant was quite hot due to the aircon not working. It feels like the staff did not have their heart in it like our previous visits. Minimal explanation of the food, wine etc.

    Nice location. Plenty of time between courses. Food was tasty but would have liked more sauce. Our table felt some of our dishes while tasty needed more sauce.

    Thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience at Atlas Dining. The progressive dining experience within a serene environment made for an enjoyable evening. The Tex-Mex menu was well designed to offer variety and a snippet of some Tex-Mex culinary delights. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Thank you, Atlas Dining, for a wonderful experience.
