Atria's History The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area

    My girlfriend and I had a very disappointing New Years Eve experience at this restaurant. We were very excited to eat, drink, and celebrate the end of a hard year. However, the night was very disappointing, the service was horrible, and all of the staff seemed unhappy. We won’t be coming back. Very disappointed.

    I’ve lived in the south hills my whole life and first time experience at Atria’s. It. Was. AMAZING! Went for early NYE dinner with my friends and it could not have been more perfect. Brooke was our server and she was FANTASTIC. all around great experience. Will be back!!

    The food was delicious and prepared perfectly. I had filet with a holiday salad. My husband had filet and mini crabcakes with sherry crab bisque soup.

    Great parking experience. The place is small, the women’s bathroom is a mess. The server was nice but slow and inattentive. But over all 3 out of 5 is appropriate. Decent old fashion.

    Delicious as always! Highlights: roasted Brussels sprouts app was an interesting medley of flavors, salty and sweet. We loved them. Soups and dinners were devoured then came dessert! A big piece of this delicious carrot cake came home with us. We highly recommend this friendly neighborhood restaurant.

    This had been our restaurant of choice in the past. But when an Atria’s opened closer to us we switched to it. However that restaurant closed so we returned here. The food was good and the service was good especially the valet parking attendant who helped my husband with his wheeled walker. BUT the noise level was atrocious. There was a party of 8 near us that very very loud. In addition there was NO handicapped accessible restroom in the restaurant. This was a serious problem since my husband needs a walker to get around. So even though we have good memories from before we will not return here

    The restaurant’s heat was. Not working so it was very cold inside. This led to a somewhat uncomfortable visit. Thankfully the food there is superb.
