Atria's History The original Atria's in Mt. Lebanon was owned by Italian immigrant Joe Atria and dates to 1930. It began as a grocery store, then expanded into a barbershop and dry cleaners. In 1933 prohibition ended and Atria's began to sell beer. Along came food to feed the hungry - both highbrow attorneys and blue-collar working men alike. In 1998, Pittsburgh natives Pat and Nancy McDonnell transformed Joe Atria's historical Mt. Lebanon landmark into an upscale casual restaurant that today serves up American classics in neighborhoods all around the Greater Pittsburgh Area

The hostess greeted us & made sure to wish my husband a VERY Happy Birthday. Our waiter however seemed preoccupied & “ on automatic “ after we didn’t choose the surf & turf menu option. We ordered a modestly priced bottle of wine with our meals & shared a salad. My husband ordered the chix piccata & I ordered the bourbon pot roast.In the past, our salads were served on separate dishes. Our waiter simply placed it on the table & I took care of separating it for us.When we ordered dessert, I made a point of LOUDLY wishing my husband a very happy birthday while the waiter was still at our table, but again he seemed preoccupied & NEVER acknowledged our special event. When you’re “ older “, these celebrations are very important because you NEVER know what tomorrow will bring & a friendly acknowledgment of a special event makes the experience even better. We’ve always enjoyed dining at the Murrysville Atrias, but this particular experience dampened our spirits. We’ve even had this particular waiter in the past & he had been far more personable. Wish I could be more positive, but…..

Mary was an amazing Valentine’s Day server, she gave us great suggestions and was pleasant throughout the whole dinner. The wait between appetizers and our entree I felt was perfect to leave enough room to enjoy everything. Drinks were good, not great, but good, I liked my partners better than mine. Didn’t think we’d finish the appetizers because they were pretty good portions for 2, but we couldn’t stop. My steak was extremely juicy and buttery, definitely one of the best I’ve had. She loved her chicken. The ambience was mostly casual with a perfect touch of formal. No need to dress in your absolute best, but everyone around seemed comfortable and dashing. We had an amazing Valentines partly thanks to Atria’s, thank you guys so much!

We had reservations for 6:30 on Valentine's Day. We were in our seats with drinks at 6:37. Jen, our server was outstanding. The food was very good - steaks cooked perfectly.

Food was delicious! Wait staff attentive! Manager very present and made sure everything was meeting our expectations. Our order included apps (zucchini planks & mildly hot peppers tossed with calamari rings), ny strip steak/mashed potatoes/asparagus spears, fried cod/fries, wedding soup, Sherry bisque, baked cod/green beans/rice. Choc.oreo ice cream was oh so good! Great place for celebrating a 92nd birthday!

This is a neighborhood favorite and is usually quite a lovely experience. My husband ordered the Chicken Pot Pie which is an Atria's Classic. This time, however, the Chicken Pot Pie was missing the fresh vegetable stew inside. It was only shredded chicken in puff pastry. Our incredible server, Kimberly, saved the day. She offered to get my husband a new dinner or bring him a bowl of the vegetable stew. He chose the second option and things worked well. Not sure what happened in the kitchen, but Kimberly for the win!

Delicious lunch today. Cup of crab bisque and a crab cake sandwich were delicious . My sister, who is newly retired, enjoyed her lunch very much! We will be back! Jessica was out server and she was very good .

Everything was great! There was a lot of guests and the staff handled it perfectly! The food, as always, was delicious!
