   The staff seemed overwhelmed, the food was OK, but I wouldn't be in a hurry to return.

   So I was not impressed to be seated in a pokey corner down the back of the restaurant - as a solo female diner this sort of discrimination only makes the dining experience weirder. There was a complete row of two-seat tables down the side which remained empty - bar one - for the whole time i was dining. Then the first table to be filled by a couple and the wait staff placed them opposite me, so we were about 1m apart when there were at that time about 6 two-seat tables vacant. I do understand that tables are assigned when people book, however, there should be some judgements made on the fly. I was dining early, there was no need to place me right down the end of the restaurant. i was gone before 4 two person tables were even full and two couples had left already, creating two new empty tables. So by the time i left there were 4 tables that had not even been sat at and two that were empty again. I thought that being a city like Canberra this behaviour wouldn't exist. I was disappointed.

   Food was tasteless and average. We were rushed with our meal too. One person had finished eating so waitress started clearing all the plates for the entire table even though others hadn’t finished. Never going back.

   Great setting, service and food. Staff very friendly and polite. Will DEFINITELY be back, all our dinner guests really enjoyed the whole experience.

   Food cooked perfectly and served well. It was a birthday dinner and we were given he dessert for free! Service excellent! Great atmosphere! Will return for certain! 👌

   There were a small group of us catching up for an after work meal / drink. This seemed like a nice venue which is located in a mid priced hotel, free parking for restaurant patrons a bonus. Decent enough bar with nice beers on tap, got there just in time before happy hour finished (4-6pm Mon - Fri). The menu is pretty well much pub fare, burgers, pasta, steak, pizza etc. Food was tasty and reasonably priced, seemed popular with hotel guests. I ordered the rump, mash & veg. Steak was a little over cooked to requested medium rare but this seems to happen everywhere I go. Others ordered schnitzel and were decent sized meals. The desert menu was good, the apple blueberry pie was apparently a 'good choice' according to the waitress and didn't disappoint. Overall a nice quiet venue, a nice meal but certainly not 'wow', certainly revisit.

   We love dining here the service is amazing and the garden surrounds give it a beautiful feel. The food is excellent. The staff are never annoying you but are always there when you want them. Would recommend the restaurant to anyone staying in Canberra.
