Aurelio's Pizza was awarded, 2016 Chicago Tribune's "Top 25 Pizzas" for their thin crust cheese and sausage pizza.

Aurelio’s is Chicagoland's first and the nation's fifth established pizza chain. With a history as rich and entrenched in the community as the pizza it’s famous for, the very first Aurelio’s restaurant opened on Ridge Road in Homewood, IL as the pride and joy of Joseph A. Aurelio, Jr. who decided to give it a go as a restaurateur at the age of 26. With its legendary "old oven" dating back to 1959 in its Homewood location, Aurelio’s was a pioneer in the concept of the Family Pizzeria in the United States and helped to launch pizza into the American lexicon. Since that time, Aurelio’s has become a favorite pizzeria franchise to 41 locations across six states, growing a strong fan base for the taste of Aurelio’s.

          We tried the deep dish, thin crust and zucchini sticks. All three were delicious. Best pizza ever!!!! Will return next time in Chicago.

          Quite possibly the best pizza I’ve ever eaten in my life. Amazing ingredients, perfect crust, great sauce. Loved every bite.

          It took quite a while after we were seated for our waitress to come to our table. However after that awkward period of sitting at the table unacknowledged, things got better. We got pizza and wings. Both were good.

          My boyfriend came to town to visit Chicago for the weekend. His pizza was better than mine. He had a pepperoni 10 inch. I had a 10 inch as well with black olives and onions. My pizza had a gross amount of cheese on it. It was probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. Our waiter was also the bartender and he was very good. It wasn't busy for a Saturday night and after the pizza i know why. Many other places to chose from. I wouldn't go back.

          The pizza was delicious! This was my second time having their pizza. I opted for the 6” (personal pan) and it was perfect. The wings were also good. I definitely will be going again!

          We come from NYC, a city with excellent pizza. Aurelio's thin crust wouldn't survive. It wasn't good. My son barely ate half of his because of the taste. The server was fine when she wasn't distracted by her phone. It is conveniently located near the museums.
