Austin's American Grill is the quintessential taste of Colorado. With three great Fort Collin's locations-one in the heart of Old Town, another on Harmony Road and one in Greeley, we'll have you wondering why mom's food never tasted so good and when you can come back for more. Savory roasts and chicken cooked over an open flame in our front-of-the-house rotisserie. All-natural buffalo seasoned to perfection. Cornbread baked in iron skillets with honey butter.     Normally this restaurant has better quality offerings... tonight the crab stuffed avocados had about 1/3 of the normal stuffing and flavor reciprocally suffered. The mint mojito was bitter. And the steamed pod peas still had woody stems and strings. Everything else in our meals, being just ok, was not enough to offset these deficiencies. Staff and service was very good as always.

    We ate here on New Years Eve and ordered the salmon and prime rib specials. We also ordered a Caesar salad ro split. The wrong salad was brought to our table and we had it replaced with the Caesar salad. Our main entrees were then delivered as soon as we got our salads so we asked the waiter to return the entrees to the kitchen. When I received the 10 oz. prime rib, it had about 4 oz. of meat and 6 oz. of fat on it. I asked for a replacement and a better quality of meat was then served. The waiter also forgot to bring my husband's second glass of wine, which we had to point out to be removed from the bill. The food was good once everything was corrected, but it wasn't a pleasant dining experience.

    Second time the coconut shrimp have been overcooked. Ordered a baileys coffee to be festive for the holidays and got a cup of coffee with a side shot. Not very festive in my mind. A friend ordered an Irish Coffee and was told they couldn’t make one. Not sure what they are doing in the bar but it isn’t what one would expect.

    Extremely pleased with our visit. All of the employees were very pleasant and made us feel very valued as customers. This is by far one our most favorite restaurants and we always leave looking forward to our next visit. Big shoutout to the staff on this visit as this was our anniversary and everyone went out of their way to congratulate us! Cheers

    Per usual, everything was wonderful for our dinner. Jake, our server, was exceptional with his customer service and friendliness.

    We love coming here for dinner. My dad loves the coconut shrimp and my granddaughter’s love the chocolate dessert sundaes.
