Dubai’s first and only all-vegetarian degustation fine dining experience. Also caters to vegan and gluten-free diets on request.
The menu is inspired by humble seasonal ingredients, that are pure, clean, natural, and energy-containing. The cuisine uses fresh produce and dairy products from local farms. The restaurant is driven by the culinary maestro, Chef Rahul Rana, who has a rich background in curating vegetarian and patisserie concepts in culinary arts. The menu at AVATARA will showcase a modern avatar of the techniques, philosophy, and story of soulful Indian food. Indian cuisine was originally predominantly vegetarian. However, the perceptions around vegetarian food have been that of limitations. The idea is to break through these perceptions and curate a unique vegetarian fine dining experience.

    Nice concept and some good dishes but generally the flavours and the spice was very similar throughout all the dishes. Desserts nice.

    We had a fantastic meal, the flavours were outstanding, every course was beautifully presented and explained. The staff and service were great. I would definitely recommend a visit even if you’re not a vegetarian, you won’t be disappointed.

    Avatara is a sublime experience with the play of intoxicating flavors, scents and visions of beauty. One feels as a guest upon an enchanted oasis. Every accommodation to the slightest distinction in diet is treated as an opportunity for distinction rather than a lack. It is a sanctum of culinary invention with rare and familiar flavors elevating the experience of vegetarian dining to its pinnacle.

    Our dining experience was truly unforgettable, thanks to the exceptional tasting menu! From the very first course to the last, each dish was thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented, turning our meal into a culinary journey.     Each dish is a work of art with subtle and delicate flavors. The only downside : the wine pairing does not match the finesse of the dishes at all, a big effort is needed in that regard.
