   There were specials that were not provided when ordering that would have changed our orders. There was also a charge for condiments that came with one of the dishes ordered……that were not requested

   I have enjoyed numerous meals at Avenue Bistro. On the day my group attended, the restaurant was pretty empty. Our waitress was lovely but the service was extremely slow. Once we ordered our salads, it was a good 45 minutes before they came out. Could have been an issue in the kitchen…not sure what the problem was?

   Avenue bistro pub is a great little spot. The staff is friendly and the food is good. Can’t wait for the spring time when the back is open.

   I have to give this 5 stars, not because it is super- high end cuisine, but because it provides excellent food, with good service, in a nice ambience. It is an unimposing building in a row of town shops, but the black & white checked marble floors, large open feeling, and consistently kind service and good food earn it a top rating.

   Great food - bustling crowd- delicious wines by the glass… especially the Boen Chardonnay recommended by our awesome waiter, Luis. Warm atmosphere and great staff!
