   First time attending and also having middle eastern cuisine. Went with kids. All staff were friendly/helpful. Everything we ordered was delicious and beautifully presented. The saffron rice was our least favourite, as it was on the bland side, but it served as a good side dish to be eaten with other dishes, especially with kofte. Didn't order any of the larger dishes. Our family prefers to eat a variety of appetizers. Favorites: crispy mushrooms, muhamarra and kofte. Pita was light, airy, and perfectly baked/toasted. We ordered extra. Would definitely return.

   Our waitress was lovely and friendly when we arrived. We ordered happy hour items and told her we’d start with that and add on … Something changed several minutes later. She seemed annoyed but we’re not sure why. She never came back to ask if we wanted any last items before happy hour ended, in fact she came back 5 mins after happy hour ended. I thought that was lacking from a service standpoint, but we pleasantly said okay, and ordered more items full price. I did my best to engage her but she wasn’t receptive, perhaps something else on a personal level was off. But it was definitely off. She told us abruptly that we could order more but we had 40 mins to finish up because she had another table coming in. The restaurant was half empty. It was her tone. It was confusing. Any restaurants that we have been to since Covid that claim to have a two hour sitting period have been super accommodating for paying customers. We decided not to create more stress to our evening, so we left and went somewhere else around the corner (that ended up being super attentive). Food was terrific.

   Overall, the experience was decent. The food was good, but considering the price, we expected a bit more. Our server was friendly, but he seemed overwhelmed and wasn’t able to attend to us properly. Unfortunately, our drinks arrived late, and some of our food took much longer than expected — it seemed like part of the order may have been forgotten. All in all, it was an okay visit, and it’s worth trying at least once.

   I came here to celebrate my birthday, and while the food was genuinely good, the overall experience was disappointing. From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed — not exactly the vibe you want for a special occasion. The food was genuinely good — well-prepared and flavorful — but unfortunately, the service left a lot to be desired. From the moment we arrived, we felt rushed. Despite having a 9:00pm reservation, it was clear the staff was already winding down for the night. If the last order is truly at 9:30pm, the restaurant really shouldn’t be taking 9:00pm reservations. It doesn’t give diners enough time to enjoy their meal without feeling like they're an inconvenience. A little more consideration for the guest experience would go a long way.

   We ordered the set menu for $65 per person. There was plenty of food overall, but for what it was, I felt the price was too high. Over $400 for a family of five for just good Mediterranean felt like a lot - and we didn’t even order any drinks. I wouldn’t have been bothered as much, but the DJ was so loud, it also impacted our experience. (Not sure why this restaurant needs a DJ on a Monday night.) The ambience would have been perfect if we could have talked to each other instead of straining to speak and hear. The highlight was the service. It was fast and efficient - very well run.
