Welcome to Azucar, where breathtaking views meet vibrant cuisine and masterfully crafted cocktails. We celebrate fresh, locally sourced California ingredients while paying homage to the rich traditions of Latin culinary heritage. Located inside historic La Serena Villas, in Downtown Palm Springs, our buzzy rooftop boasts some of the best views in the desert. Come share a toast over our popular Blood Orange Margaritas and stay for a meal that's as fabulous as Palm Springs itself.

Azúcar offers indoor, outdoor, poolside, and Weekend Rooftop Brunch to a 21 and over crowd. Reservations are strongly recommended, and while we will do our best to seat you in your requested section, we cannot guarantee it as it's based on availability.

The place seemed to be severely understaffed. Service was extremely slow, I had to repeatedly ask for things I had already ordered, and the food once it finally arrived, our salads arrived before the appetizers, I had to ask twice for our empty plates to be removed and had to ask three times for another bottle of water, I doubt our check would have ever made it to the table if I had not gone to find our server, which I never did, had to ask someone else fir our bill. Maybe just a bad set of circumstances, but I am not looking to visit the spot again. Phillip

We were told that the waitress was “too busy to take our order”. Then both the fries and my salmon were served cold. They were nice and took it off the bill but the service was terrible!!!

Setting was lovely, food was unremarkable - Brussel sprouts were mushy (boiled and blech). We would have expected to have our meal credited for the yucky Brussels, but sadly, full charge. Tuna tartare was also unremarkable - seaweed salad was too sweet and tuna itself needed more seasoning. All of that said, poolside setting was sensational. Order a cocktail, get a table outside by the pool, but skip the meal next time…

We had a terrific meal in a magical setting. The open deck on the upper level was beautiful and offered views of the mountains on the west side of downtown. The menu offered several items that looked great. The poblano dish I had was fantastic. The server was educated on the menu and provided information about the dishes helping me to make a decision on my meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience.

Ambiance was very nice. Service was nice as well. The food on the other hand was very poor. Quality of the meat was much to be desired.

Nice place with good food. Tables at the poolside are to jammed into the space allotted. Service staff well trained.

We were put directly in front of the door which stayed out the entire time. It was miserable and cold. Food was okay. After ate no one came by to fill our water or to see if we needed anything. Waiter also didn’t suggest ordering sides which would have been helpful.

Best spicy margarita! We had dinner on the rooftop and it was stunning. Everyone is very welcoming and attentive . The table favorites were the salmon and mole! Will definitely be coming back!

Overall, good service (especially Rodney and Jason), good food and ambiance. Chicken mole was dry and they were out of 3 items at 7:00 pm. It was an unusually cold night so we asked to be seated away from the door which they kept open.
