We’re all about vibrant flavours, locally-sourced ingredients and homemade marinades and sauces. Watch our team of creative chefs make fresh flatbreads, from scratch, in our open theatre-style kitchen. We cook all of our breads on a robata grill, giving each kebab that lovely charcoal flavour.

We also offer a selection of tasty non-babs, meze dishes and desserts. Our drinks list includes freshly made iced teas and a variety of beers, wines and soft drinks. We have recently expanded and now offer an amazing choice of cocktails, from savoury to sweet and everything in between.

So, come hungry, pull up a chair and enjoy a kebab worth sitting down for.

At peak times tables will have a maximum sitting time for 1hr 30mins from the start of the booking time. The host inform you on arrival.

Unfortunately, we are unable to serve Coeliacs due to the risk of cross contamination.

Delicious food... decent price especially for central Manchester. Good atmosphere but not too loud. Will definitely go again and recommend.

Advised when ordering I can’t have citrus, was eating and food had orange peel in, which inevitably made me sick at the end of the evening, left 3/4 of the main due to this, meats on both Babs were lukewarm and didn’t receive our side of fries at any point, advised server who said he would address with chef, bill came and was charged for the full meal but left fries and off, staff were polite enough but allergies/intolerances need to be taken more seriously

Sadly this once great restaurant seems to have gone down hill. We arrived at 9 on Friday and the place was half empty, the food was quite disappointing and the staff started closing up while we were still eating (turning off lights, turning off the draught).

We had a fantastic meal at Bab. Sharing platter and two other dishes, all excellent. The time was mid afternoon and the restaurant was quiet but the staff were friendly and helpful.

Unfortunately not much atmosphere in this restaurant. We were expecting more in terms of flavour but were pretty disappointed how bland both babs were. Not big portions either. I don’t think we will be returning.

We’d been looking forward to visiting having clocked you online for a while. The waiting staff were lovely and the venue/decor is really cool. The menu also looked great. We were disappointed you were so quiet on a Saturday lunch time as we like a busy vibe (not your fault). But what fell flat was the food. We had the calamari and Cajun prawn and the steak and fries. Both were of quality but not very plentiful and the salad was disappointing. It was all very fresh but was literally just some leaves. We get it, you’re doing “kebabs worth sitting down for” but we’d like more of it. For £18pp we’d expect more of it. Shame as it promised so much.

Amazing food, fantastic kebabs with an interesting variety to choose from. Great location and warm ambience. Staff very attentive. We’ll definitely return to Bab!
