We are a gastropub specializing in Cuban and Peruvian flavors. While still adhering to age old family recipes, we strive to be innovative and open minded, just as our ancestors were when these flavors were first imagined. Here at BaBaLoo, we want to take on this multicultural challenge by providing the most authentic dining experience that Lake Havasu City and Palm Desert have to offer. Cuba and Peru are rich in history, and nothing tells that tale better than their diverse flavor combinations. We take ideas from cuisines around the world; Chinese, Japanese, Spanish, Caribbean, and African flavors have heavily influenced Cuban and Peruvian food throughout history.

What a fun place! Went with friends and had a great time. The music is terrific. And we had amazing service. We tried numerous starters and they were all delicious-particularly liked the shrimp tacos and ceviche. I will definitely go back.

We went for a late lunch and sat on the patio. Perhaps when there are more people it is a great patio, but we were the only ones there so aesthetically wasn't that pleasing. Having said that, it certainly was quiet, the food was excellent and our server was wonderful. The inside restaurant is beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend and would definitely go back!

We had a great time. The food and drinks were fabulous. Big kudos to our bar tender arty. He know how to do a mean flaming margarita. Live music and dancing. Great evenining.

Went to Babaloo to hear Off da Cuff band play. Restaurant was about 30% occupied when we arrived. When we were seated, no other table was occupied in our area. There were three servers stationed there. As other guests arrived, each server took a table, but no one came to our booth. After repeated requests, we did get a server who was most apologetic and who tried to give us good service. Drinks and appetizers (stuffed mushrooms and chicken wings) were good. For dinner we ordered Ahi poke bowl, Philly cheese steak sandwich, and a Cubano sandwich. The Ahi was “chewy” and seemed not fresh; we sent it back virtually untouched and waiter was very apologetic. The beef in the two sandwiches was “stringy” and tough and non-edible. The side for each sandwich was shoestring potatoes which were great. The two sandwiches were left uneaten and the plates removed by a runner. No one bothered to ask if there was a problem with our food despite the fact the sandwiches were in tact when plates were taken. Will we return? Yes, to order a drink and to hear the band play. Will we eat at Babaloo? Appetizers, maybe.

Great place for unique eating experiences and great atmosphere! Emmy could not have been better. Very friendly and efficient and never missed a step. The menu is very diverse and we could not eat everything we wanted to order. Super generous drinks and a live band and multiple TVs for the sporting events. We will make this a regular place to eat!

We enjoyed our dinner very much. The restaurant is beautiful. The service is outstanding and the food was excellent. We intend on visiting it frequently.

Food (pork, plantain, rice & beans) was great. Solid service. The band was way too loud for such a small venue. Didn’t realize we had booked a reservation on oldies music night. Was expecting something Cuban, Caribbean or Reggae.

The place smelled the second we walked in the door. We were about to leave but were so hungry and wanted a place with live music so we took a chance. We should have left. The smell stayed the entire time, the place was practically empty and it was for good reason. This place reminded me of that kitchen nightmares show. The decor was bad, the menu was all over the place (too many items) the band was late and was too focused on socializing. The food we got was ok, the staff recommended steak so that's what we got but it was nothing I would go back for. Don't waste your time or money.
