Tucked in a hidden laneway in the heart of Melbourne, right next door to our iconic sibling Beneath Driver Lane, Baby Driver is a vibrant haven of 70s jazz, funk vinyl, curated wines, crafted cocktails — and for a limited time, a Latin kitchen takeover by Lady T.

This May, we're serving bold, flavour-packed street food from Latin America. Expect empanadas, arepas, tacos and more — all paired with cocktails and natural wines in our moody, vinyl-spun space.

Whether you're grazing with friends, diving into the full $65 set menu, or staying for a drink and the music, Baby Driver is a sanctuary for lovers of good food, great wine, and even better company.

In partnership with our sibling venue Beneath Driver Lane, located just downstairs, this experience sets the tone for a perfect night out. Enjoy a $75 “Feed Me” chef’s selection at Baby Driver, including a glass of prosecco on arrival, then head down for guaranteed seats at BDL’s iconic live blues shows. If you’ve been before, you’ll know walk-ins are rarely lucky—so this is our way of keeping it in the family and showing our appreciation. Bookings available for groups of up to 10, with all guests required to participate in the Feed Me menu. Please note: Live blues kicks off at 9 PM every night.

Warm reception when entering, they explained the menu and recommended a few cocktails. We were checked on and drinks were offered and I have to say I accepted everyone. Its was a good night for our first night in Melbourne and the tapas were just what we wanted after travelling. It was a bit cold in the restaurant but we are from Queensland and a few cocktail in the cold disappeared. Would recommend

Really cool vibe, perfect after work venue. Drinks and food were great - loved happy hour. Service was really attentive and knowledgeable! Def recommend

Torino is a great place to have some pre food and cocktails before heading out for some drinks or to a show etc. The vibe is warm & cosy. The food is delicious and the cocktails are so good. Would definitely recommend. This is my second time going and won’t be my last.
