We are open for Outdoor and Indoor dining and takeout only from 11:30 AM-9:00 P.M. 7 days.

Since 1917 the Bahrs family has been serving fresh seafood, big lobsters and choice steaks. Located at the entrance to Sandy Hook National Seashore, Bahrs Landing features outdoor “Dockside Dining”. One of the Jersey Shore’s true landmark establishments, it is truly the quintessential Jersey seafood dining experience!

SUMMER NOTE: We do NOT take reservations for outdoor seating. We have expanded our outdoor waterfront dining options. For a table see our host stand outside by the Tiki Bar. To order take out, go to our website. Also available for walk up orders at our host stand. Dock and Dine on board your boat in our marina is an option as well.

As always, the service, ambiance, and food did not disappoint. We come in from Long Island several times per year and no where we are in NJ, we always make our way back to Bahrs.

Bahrs never disappoints and is always a go to during the holidays. Our booking was for late lunch/early dinner so restaurant was not crowded. Waitstaff friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the clam chowder and lobsters!

There was an area wide power outage Thanksgiving Day during our visit so our food was some of the last to come out as this occurred. My monkfish was great, but needed more flavor, the prosciutto was crispy and tasty, mashed potatoes delicious, broccolini excellent. The restaurant was a little chilly overall, being a windy rainy day it should have been warmer. Excellent server Ray, greeted warmly when we walked in. Clams casino and lobster bisque were incredible. My husband got the lobster pie and loved it. Nice hot biscuits at the table were simple but so good as well. Overall an excellent outing even with the power outage, minimal lighting was on but it was mid-afternoon so not dark inside. We had Easter dinner here a few years ago and enjoyed it as well. Why don't we go more often!

Service and food were outstanding! Ann, our waitress was wonderful, friendly and efficient. Restaurant holidays can be crazy but Bahr’s has mastered all the challenges. I’m so glad we chose Bahr’s!

I very seldom write reviews, but had to make sure I recognized Bahrs Landing. I have visited often - when "we drove down the shore", now I live here. The occasion for our visit last evening was my son's birthday and we had a wonder table by the water which helped with the little ones. The staff from the host to the server were amazing. The tone they set is so welcoming and friendly that it just compliments the great food! Bahrs is a jersey landmark and has been part of our state's dining expience since 1917 You don't stay in the restaurant business for that long without being exceptional. Our server Mauro was outstanding! We had a great lunch for my mother’s birthday! We had the soup and lobster roll combo. Great tasting, perfect portion and we all enjoyed it!
