Balboa Surf Club is an upscale American restaurant in the heart of Uptown, Houston, located in Post Oak Plaza. The menu places an emphasis on fresh seafood from around the country, including a curated sushi program, as well as salads, hearty sandwiches, a standout hamburger, and hand-cut steaks.
Beverage selections include classic house cocktails, and an extensive yet approachable wine list.
The dining room is made up of lush plants, intimate booths as well as a full service bar and lush patio.
Balboa is open 7 days a week for both lunch and dinner.

                                                                                        Great service! We enjoyed many seafood dishes. Trout, Redfish, Tuna burger: Excellent. The baja seafood cocktail was good. I didn't love the tostito/chips served with. Regular tortilla chips would be fine. More flavor /salt to them.

                                                                                        Balboa Surf Club is an absolute gem in Houston! The food is phenomenal—fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. The coconut shrimp and the crab cakes are a must-tries, and the cocktails are next-level (get the Westside!). Service is warm and attentive. Great spots in the city. Highly recommend!

                                                                                        We had great service. Delicious food. Friendly and efficient. Food came out just as ordered. We weren’t rushed but were taken care of in a timely manner. Will return for sure.

                                                                                        Balboa Surf Club is always a good choice for meeting friends at lunch! The three of us enjoyed sitting in one of the half round banquet tables - feels private and easy to visit without interruptions. The food was to everyone’s liking - I had the trout - and would recommend! So glad this place is nearby!
