If you're going to take your name from a badass like the patron saint of blacksmiths, you better be able to back it up. Baldamar marks the turning point where we usher in the new standard for style, service and steak. It means the menu’s made with old-world craft at its core and modern day meat eaters in mind — with flavors forged in fire and folded into pure primal perfection. It’s where every steak is aged 40 days and 40 nights for a taste of biblical proportion, and where crazy-fresh seafood means it was caught during your morning commute. At the bar sits every spirit imaginable, and someone who isn’t afraid to use them. This is more than a new steakhouse. It’s a line in the sand. It’s not just where you celebrate special occasions. It’s where you create them.

    I ate dinner at Baldemar TWO evenings in a row; dazzled the first evening, I returned for a second and enjoyed myself just as much. It will become my "special place" as needed. It's a total experience--atmosphere, ambiance, service, quality of food, and decor.

    Really good food! A bit costly but if people in torn jeans can afford it well I guess I can. Waitrose was awesome!

    My husband and I had lunch at Baldamar for the first time. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the staff! Our server was friendly and knew the menu inside and out. My husband loved his prime rib sandwich! I enjoyed the harvest salad and sweet potato fries. The chipotle aioli that accompanied the fries was also very flavorful. We ordered the brussel sprouts based on our server’s recommendation and they were also very tasty and crispy. We appreciated the attention to detail in the way the cocktails were served in quality glassware with nice garnishes. The menu has a great variety overall but I’d have loved to see a few more vegetarian entree options. Something heartier than soup or salad.. The overall ambiance of the restaurant is great.. definitely upscale vibe and the menu prices reflect that. Definitely a great restaurant for a date night or dinner with friends! However, due to higher prices on menu items we’d save Baldamar for special occasions.

    The food and service at Baldamar is always outstanding. Our favorite restaurant in the area for steak. It is a little more noisy so not what I would call a place for an intimate date night experience.

    The food was very good and service was excellent. We were there for lunch and enjoyed the food selections as well as the ambience of the restaurant. I would highly suggest the restaurant and will try it again in the future.

    Our 2nd dinner here was just as great as our first. Service is at the forefront of your dining experience. Our server and the staff checked on us routinely to ensure we weren’t left needing anything. The drinks and appetizer came out promptly. Our dinner of steaks and sides arrived at optimal temperature and portions were generous. A highly recommended dinner date choice.

    First time at Baldamar and it was all that we expected. We sat at the counter. Drinks, food, and service was all fantastic. It was surprisingly quiet and we could hear our conversations with each other. Definitely looking forward to another visit.

    Awesome service, cocktails, food, and atmosphere. Dining here is not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Incredible!
