                                                                                                                                      It was a disappointing experience this time at Bali, I’ve had the reservation for sometime and was excited to come back as last years meal and experience was fantastic. My server wasn’t very good, he never checked on me after the food came, he didn’t give me bread or water or anything. last year I ordered a Diet Coke and got a flower in my drink, this year nothing. I had to ask for a refill and my check, and honestly it was a huge disappointment for the price I paid.

                                                                                                                                      The view was great - would be better if didn't have to look at the ocean thru screens - although I appreciate their presence to minimize birds from flying into restaurant (they can still easily come in via the front entrance which is wide and fully open. The restaurant tries to be upscale and in some aspects it is. Nice attentive service, great ambiance. Where it falls short is in the food. Specifically the pricing of the food, they are not competitive. The food was good but not exceptional. I had steak and truffle risotto. Other high end restaurants in the area of Waikiki offer then same high end service and atmosphere with much better food and sides. Like I said the food was good but by comparison with other Waikiki high end steakhouses it is overpriced and food is better elsewhere. Really a matter of good food at a high price compared to exceptional food at a lower (while still high) price. If I am paying that much for the food I want exceptional.

                                                                                                                                      My wife's lamb was the best she's ever had as was my lobster ravioli. To my surprise it also included a full lobster tail cut out from the shell all for a reasonable cost of $57. Excellent experience.
