Always enjoy lunch at Banana Boat. The food is solid and the service is good. A great waterfront location to dine.

We had a reservation for inside seating on Christmas night- and were told we didn’t ( I have confirmation) but since it was already 7:15, we took an outside table and were chilly. They did drop the sides, which helped. Great French onion soup and fish dip! Entrees were disappointing. I ordered halibut and it was not seasoned well, so it was bland-and was on a huge pile of mashed potatoes, which I find to be an odd starch choice. I ate the fish and left the mashed. My partner ordered what was described as lightly breaded snapper- it had a super crunchy exterior, similar to a traditional deep fried batter. Also, the rice/ veggies it was sitting on was mushy. Overall, disappointed.

We were seated on time for our 7pm reservation. All the staff was pleasant, helpful, attentive and accommodating. We had the Baked Halibut and Parmesan Crusted Pompano - both dishes were prepared perfectly, served hot, and were fantastic. Tiramisu for dessert was a large piece of delicious Christmas treat.

We had a great meal. Our server was warm and friendly. Bar service was fun. Always enjoy being there.

Today was Christmas Day and it’s the first time I’ve ever gone out to celebrate the holiday. It was an amazing experience. Everything was delicious. They sat us on time and our waitress was terrific. Definitely we’re going back.

We enjoyed or holiday meal at Banana Boat. My only concern was that we were unaware that the shrimp & scallop linguine contains asparagus. Fortunately, the asparagus did not alter the flavor, or I would not have been able to eat my meal. The clam chowder was stellar! The shrimp & scallop linguine was a beautiful, festive presentation with the small red tomato halve and sliced asparagus.
