Bandar Restaurant serves Mediterranean food with unique Persian spices flown to San Diego and served in original recipes. Chefs Behrooz and Shokooh create simple preparations to showcase them, alongside an exotic variety of oven-roasted eggplant, charbroiled chicken, seafood and flavorful prime steaks. Look for signature classics such as Nadari, Barg and Soltani. Bandar Restaurant is award-winning since 1996.                                                                               The service was great. They were very attentive. However the food was a little bit bland, it needed seasoning. The cocktail drinks also needed more flavor, and they were way too expensive $21 for a piña colada...ouch! We expend about $60 on three drinks! The ambiance was awesome! And them validating parking forv$12 was a great too.

                                                                              Service was not optimal -- we had an appetizer and immediately our entree showed up. We did not ask for expedited service. It made us feel rushed. Restaurant can be pretty loud if half or more of the tables are full of people. Food is very good. cocktail menu has no prices listed for cocktails - only wine prices. We had to ask. The Old Fashioned was not good - had to send it back. The Malbec was mediocre. Would like to see a better wine/cocktail menu there and prices listed.

                                                                              The interior of the restaurant is very elegant and the noise level was medium to a little bit higher once it filled up. The service was very good and the food was delicious and plentiful! The prices for a single glass of wine was pricey, but, I will definitely return for another meal!

                                                                              The food was delicious. We tried the flight of humus, very good. We shared the Soltani, which was amazing. The meat was so tender. Had plenty left over for another meal. Will definitely eat there again.

                                                                              As all of us live on the east coast, this was our first time at this restaurant. They food was INCREDIBLE, and our waitress was phenomenal. She described the appetizers and entrees perfectly and provided patient and attentive services. Truthfully, these is not a bad item on this menu. While it was our first time at Bandar, it will definitely not be our last. It will be on the top of our list of places to dine the next time we are in San Diego.
