Named for the iconic championship team banners raised into the rafters throughout history, Banners Kitchen & Tap is located in the thick of Boston sports, on the former site of the Boston Garden, adjacent to the TD Garden and North Station at The Hub on Causeway.

    Decent spot before a trip to the garden. Food is nothing special, attentive service. I went with my son -$25 per person just to reserve a spot two and a half hours before the game is excessive and borderline criminal. I was able to just make a reservation a year ago with no additional cost.

    Fabulous experience! Preferential seating did not disappoint. Food was great, service was great, drinks were great. Wonderful time, try it!!! A+++

    Banners is the best place to eat before a game. It's connected directly to the Garden and has the best viewing experience, drinks, and food!

    I walked in and they turned me away for a table of two at 5:50pm. They said I needed a reservation and there was no ability to wait. I proceeded to walk outside check their tables on Open Table and got a table for two at 6pm. Only problem was that I needed to pay $25 a person in Open Table in order to “make the reservation”. Once I forked over the $50 in Open Table for the “reservation” we walked in and they took us right up and we were able to sit and eat. I don’t understand why the whole situation was so shady in the first place, why force me to pay to get in when there was a seat available for two within ten minutes of me arriving the first time?

    The server was new but he was cautious with our food allergy which helps make the experience less stressful. The swag for the birthday boys was quite nice. Gracious service. Loud but good music. Food and drink was good to very good.
