   Truly one of the most incredible meals we have ever had. We followed the sage advice of our server and experienced a fabulous meal. Try the whole fish - it could feed 6 people (or in our case the leftovers will feed 2 people for another few days). Just go for it. It is such a fabulous restaurant.

   We ordered the whole fish and the flavors were excellent. The fish was large and enough for 4 people (only two of us) so we brought the rest home and made tacos with it, delicious. service was excellent and you cannot beat the view. go before sunset otherwise it is completely dark.

   food was great. service was good. shocked that we were charged $80 corkage when my wife and I each ordered 2 cocktails (4 total between us).

   This is great place to enjoy a meal the food is amazing and the service is outstanding. The views are also really beautiful.

   Over rated. Service was friendly but not attentive. Ordered whole fish. Good but side order brussel sprouts was bad. Overfried shavings, not whole. After fish dish, plates not cleared for 10 minutes, while flies buzzed about. Expected way more from Ritz Carlton. Made reservations 2 weeks prior. Only available time was 515. We were the only couple in the dining room until 630 pm. Upon departure valet neither opened my door for me, nor closed it even after I intentionally left it open to see if he would come around. I've had better service at McDonald's. Go to Lahaina noon. Better service and value.

   The ahi (fresh daily fish) special for two and our waiter, Nick, were both outstanding! The setting at the Ritz-Carlton Maui (Kapalua) was beautiful. My wife & I would have appreciated it if the music included more Hawaiian music, rather than modern reggae & pop, but that was only a minor distraction.

   Perfect place to celebrate both our honeymoon and my birthday! Beautiful views of the ocean, service was 5 stars and all the dishes were so so delicious especially the whole grilled fish.

    The Banyan Tree was sampled for both lunch and dinner, both of which were enormous let downs. Both dining times resulted in low quality, tasteless entrees like the “Buddha bowl” that was carelessly tossed together, and the $80 signature seafood curry which was tiny and underwhelming. The biggest disappointment was the service which was abysmal from start to finish. Orders were placed incorrectly, mistimed, and a dinner for 1 took two hours to complete. Literally go anywhere else and save your $. Thank you
