Fantastic meal from start to finish. Everything was on point, as you would expect from a restaurant of this type. My daughter announced that it was the best steak she has ever had. Granted, she is 16 but she was very enthusiastic about her choice.

I recently visited Banyan Tree, expecting an exceptional experience given its reputation. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The service was just okay, but I couldn’t help but feel unwelcome. The waiter’s demeanor felt dismissive, and there were moments that seemed to reflect discriminatory behavior toward me, which made the experience uncomfortable. As for the food, it was mediocre at best—not what I would expect from a restaurant of this caliber. Overall, it didn’t live up to the standard I was hoping for, both in terms of hospitality and quality.

We would absolutely recommend the Banyan Tree! The food, although pricey, was totally worth it! The vegetables were locally sourced, fresh and amazing!! The meat and fish were cooked to perfection! Service was excellent!

Overall pleasant experience. Some food and wine options ridiculously priced. Other entrees and wines fall in the expected pricing for venue.

While this restaurants location at the Ritz in Kapalua is certainly beautiful and lends itself to special occasions, the food itself is ok, but you’d expect much better for the exorbitant prices. Wine prices are outrageous, 300% higher than other restaurants. Hard to find reason to return, lots of other great restaurants on west side.

Fresh made cocktails, beautiful ambiance. Food was delicious. They had a great vegetarian menu that’s not listed online. Great service.

Unbeatable location and atmosphere. Service for a 5 star resort was good but not great compared to other nearby locations such as Merriman’s.

Food was horrible and overpriced for the quality of food served. The prawns we ordered were either undercooked or old. Not fresh. The rest of the food was meh. For being the primary restaurant of the Ritz and the prices you pay, I would expect a lot better. Very disappointing.
