Great experience. Friendly service and the food was unique and delicious. A little pricy but totally worth it.

Everything about the experience was above and beyond, excellent, and blew us away. From the amazing food, to being in a very warm and cozy environment. We really enjoyed Justin’s service, and he was definitely one of the highlights of our night!

The overall ambience was really nice, we lived the upscale diner vibe. Wait staff was extremely knowledgeable and so friendly. It was like being at an East coast fine dining kitchen party! The food was delicious, seafood platter we could have eaten 3. The preserved oyster, scallops our favourite, shrimp and oysters great way to at tart our meal. Soups yum, the chowder was full of seafood so light yet creamy. Fish and chips amazing you have to eat the tartar sauce with it, it really added to the flavour of the fish. Crab dip definitely a must try it was creamy but not an over powered cream cheese flavour a perfect balance. Desserts were delicious but very big and very sweet we had the Hello Dolly and sundae we should have split one dessert between the 3 of us. I wish we had tried the lemon meringue pie. Next time for sure!

Great service and good food. We had oysters, shrimp cocktail, lobster bisque, donairs and fried clams. Everything was great! Loved the "Guiness Refill" on the chocolate sundae we had for dessert! Service was attentive and friendly. The design of the place results in acoustics that are quite noisy with the combo of people talking and (classic rock) background music, so get ready to speak up or lean in. All seating is counter style so you also need to be comfortable with that. Overall fun place with good staff and good food.

Honestly it’s a little loud for me, also not the biggest fan of the “diner” style seats. Also didn’t like how low the coat hangers under the bar are, your jackets are all over the floor and you’re almost stepping on them. But the service was fantastic and very hospitable. I’m from Newfoundland and felt the warmth from the staff. The food was very tasty, I really liked the fried clams and the scallops. Grilled cheese was just ok but the molasses toast was delicious. The desserts were beyond outrageously good. That lemon meringue pie was probably the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be going again ! Great job. Keep up the good work

The food was great. The atmosphere was fun but our server really put it over the top. He joked with us. Was attentive but not too attentive and made me an awesome off menu cocktail to go with dessert. I’ll definitely go back.

I had high expectations as a big fan of Matty Matheson but unfortunately the negative reviews were spot on. Both my fiancé and I fell ill after eating there on Sunday night.

So this is about a diner experience which is well done but not worth the money for this levle of cooking. The money is more in the decor and vibe than on the plate.
