   Fantastica esperienza! Abbiamo mangiato al bancone con gli Chef praticamente davanti a noi. Christian, lo chef italiano, è non solo bravo ma anche accogliente e gentile, un piacere vederlo all'opera! Piatti ottimi, consigliatissimo!

   Ambiente vivace, piccolo ma caloroso. Personale molto cortese e attento. Servizio non velocissimo ma cibo molto gradevole!Prezzi nella media. Ci tornerò!

   Was Expecting more from Bar douro. Saturday night booking at 19:45. Restaurant not really busy, to be a Saturday Night. Not nice eating while chefs taking break to smoke a cigarets few meters from the table. Food good,but a bit overpriced for the average in London. Octopus salad not great, been eating the same dish in Portugal, but using better ingredients,dish will result more tasty. Service a bit disappointed, food left under the lights instead been served as soon as ready or at least i expect it for the snacks. We have been asking for olives while choosing food from the menu, never arrived at the table.

   Had 9 small plates. Enjoyed the mushroom rice, however nothing else was memorable, wouldn't go back.

   It’s a nice little restaurant for a catch up. The food is good and the wine average/good. The ambiance is so so. They could do with some music. There was none last night and we could tell you almost word for word what the two chefs were talking about as they had to shout over the noise of the grills and fryers. That said it was actually fun to watch and listen to them. My biggest issue with sitting at the bar is the seats are too close together. Anyone with a bad back avoid as both myself and my mate were crippled after an hour. Choose the other seats by the window if you have the option.

   The staff was extremely attentive and made the dinner enjoyable throughout. The food was fresh and delicious, and the chefs explained the ingredients and flavors to us. They brought our dessert with a candle for one of our birthdays :) It was a lovely dinner, and we will visit again.
