                        I’ve been coming here for years and the service last night will keep me away. Our waitress would walk by and not check on us. She left for the night and no one else came to check on us or see if we needed anything.

                        The service was good, they didn’t have enough help. The server was working the entire restaurant, I felt very bad for her. Our reservation was at 4:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday, a great time of day to visit the restaurant.

                        We had reservations for 6:15. We had 8 in our party. After talking to the hostess several times she said she was still waiting for a large group to leave so we could have their table. After a 30 wait I asked to speak to the manager. That didn’t happen. So 3 of us sat down at the end of the table the other large group had. They finally got the clue to leave. It’s not the hostess job or even waitress job to move them out. It’s the manager’s responsibility to keep them moving. She did comp us 2 appetizers. What’s the point of reservations if we have to wait 30 minutes!

                        We love Bar Louie, however, this trip the food was all over cooked, tater tots so crunchy there was no trace of potato inside. The server did the best she could, we had a group of 12 and they were short- staffed so drink service was slow. We will return though and give them another chance as we appreciated the accommodation for a large group reservation.
