                    It would have been perfect. We asked that the burger be well done. The waiter assure us that it would be. When we got the burger, it was bright red in the meat, not well done. I ate the burger because I don’t mind rare that much. But my friend took a couple bites and could not finish. We told the waiter but nothing was done to compensate her meal. We also talked to the manager who said he would talk to the chef. Beautiful decor and delicious food But I think we should have been compensated because we specifically asked that the burger be well done.

                    Restaurant / food / service was very good. Host / host manager were rude and should be sent back for training on how to manage customers…. Showed up 10 min early for reservation, waited 10-15 min after reservation time watching hostess seat others who came after me. Discussed with hostess and then repeated with mgr who eventually after much discussion offered a seat at a high top instead of table reservation. Further debated nothing available and with a cold attitude mysteriously produced a table. On way out thanked mgr who I noticed whispered something to the hostess and my friend saw laughed at his comment. Don’t have time for dealing with this attitude.

                    Love Bar Mar but two areas of constructive criticism. The menu choices keep shrinking. A little more choice of mains, in particular, would be appreciated. And service was a little slow.

                    Food was excellent. And the service and atmosphere were great. Always a good crowd at lunch and dinner. They also have valet parking after 4, so that is key in that area.

                    Bar Mar is great for a delightful lunch or special dinner. The wine list is unsurpassed. Any or all of their appetizers would create a tasty opportunity to try something new. The half lobster tail is not to be missed. Have dined here several times and have never been disappointed

                    Fabulous oysters and shrimp cocktail. Our server was attentive, but not cloying. Would definitely recommend.
