                    Very unhappy with the service since I was celebrating my birthday. The server only checked on us a few times, I had to ask if they do anything for celebration, and felt very dismissive while celebrating with my family. Food was good but I would prefer a more attentive server.

                    Booked this place for a celebration. Ambience was good, but the food was mediocre. Very limited menu. Had looked up menu online, but it was not the same, so don’t go by that. Menu had like 3 were salads and regular burger and stuff. We ordered a burger and grilled shrimp salad. $22 burger was ok. So overall poor value for the money. Was very disappointed

                    Every aspect is outstanding. Great food, service and ambiance. Menu was recently changed but they accommodated orders of favorites from previous menu.

                    This was our second time dining at Bar Mar and we absolutely loved it both times! The ambiance, hostess staff, cocktails, wine selection, caviar cones, and too many items on the food menu to name! Our waiter Alex was so attentive and didn’t rush us. And who can forget the Bar - just spectacular! Would definitely return.

                    We were disappointed. We thought there would be more seafood options on the menu. We ordered the lobster bisque, the lobster roll and the sticky toffee pudding. All of the dishes were tasty but all of them arrived too cold.

                    It would have been perfect. We asked that the burger be well done. The waiter assure us that it would be. When we got the burger, it was bright red in the meat, not well done. I ate the burger because I don’t mind rare that much. But my friend took a couple bites and could not finish. We told the waiter but nothing was done to compensate her meal. We also talked to the manager who said he would talk to the chef. Beautiful decor and delicious food But I think we should have been compensated because we specifically asked that the burger be well done.

                    Restaurant / food / service was very good. Host / host manager were rude and should be sent back for training on how to manage customers…. Showed up 10 min early for reservation, waited 10-15 min after reservation time watching hostess seat others who came after me. Discussed with hostess and then repeated with mgr who eventually after much discussion offered a seat at a high top instead of table reservation. Further debated nothing available and with a cold attitude mysteriously produced a table. On way out thanked mgr who I noticed whispered something to the hostess and my friend saw laughed at his comment. Don’t have time for dealing with this attitude.
