Bar Siena expands to Chicago's North Shore suburbs with their most recent location at Old Orchard Mall. Located next to Nordstrom, the new restaurant boasts an 8,500-square-foot interior along with two expansive patios. Much like its West Loop sister spot, Bar Siena North Shore combines the quaint charm of trattorias in Siena, Italy, with the industrial aesthetic of Chicagoland. The restaurant, in collaboration with Top Chef Fabio Viviani, brings the flavor, flare, and energy of casual Italian-American dining to the Midwest. The lemon pasta I had was terrific. And Tom our waiter could not have been helpful and do nice.

Very cold in the restaurant. Service was slow and they weren’t busy. Protein add on to salad was 2-3 oz - surprisingly small. Food was delicious and liked ambiance and location.

The prices here are just stupid expensive; and for no good reason. Food is good, but service is meh, very noisy, prices are really high for pretty basic food.

Server did not consistently check in with us. Some beverages we ordered had to be refunded because we had finished our dinner before they were brought to us.

Gorgeous setting and atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant feels like you are in Little Italy. Our food was wonderful: brussel sprout salad, halibut Milanese, salmon.
