   We were seated at our table and waited over twenty minutes and no one came to drop off waters or take our order. We left so not sure how the food was. We talked to another waitress and she said she was not even sure who was supposed to serve our table. There were several servers we saw walking around and they all ignored us.

   Asked for a booth in reservation but they had just filled last booth so we were sat at table by front door- too cold and door was open so I was uncomfortable throughout meal. Food was dripping with grease, yuck !!! Didn’t eat it, never asked why. One and done.

   Have eaten at the Barrio Queen in Desert Ridge many times previously and it has always been excellent. Glendale location had excellent service but the food was sub par. Meat was dry and bland in the tacos. Enchiladas had minimal sauce. Not what I expected.

   We submitted a reservation and marked it was for a birthday. When we got there, we were asked if we were ok with a booth. The booth we were sat in was longer table. This combined with the noise made it hard to converse with our group. The server was either over booked or not up to speed on basics of being a server. We kept having to ask the busser for items or to get the server as he would keep disappearing or forgot about us. At the end, after having our Togo dessert delivered, we waited another 20 minutes. At which point we went and tracked him down to get our check. No apology or even an awareness that if your table is tracking you down, that there is an issue. Drink went dry. Food got cold waiting for missing items or came out cold to start. Some items were over cooked. Ordered fajitas. These came with jalapeño after asking for no jalapeños. Would have asked for them to be fixed but couldn’t find our server. Eventually ate it cold because I was tired of waiting. Ordered guacamole and was surprised that it was made table side. This was exciting. Until I saw that all he did was cut the avocado open,score it into chunks, put that in the bowl with the pico and give it a stir. No mashing occurred. Overall, it was quite a bad experience. Seems like it has potential to be good with a decent server.

    The mild salsa for chips was too spicy. The chips dry with no flavor. The pork in the Arizona burrito was very tender and tasty. Too many better places to go
