Established in 2011, Barrio Queen combines authentic service with traditional Mexican flavors to create an immersive and satisfying dining experience. This spot was named one of the "Best New Restaurants in America" by Esquire and features a unique take on tacos, burritos, tortas and other regional favorites. In addition to popular lunch and dinner items, there are numerous breakfast creations available any time of day. Barrio Queen also has a special menu with healthier dishes such as grilled fish tacos, chile relleno with vegetables and its exclusive Skinny Chola margarita.Barrio Queen features a bustling indoor dining area, as well as an outdoor patio outfitted with torch heaters for cooler evenings. The interior space is bright and has colorful artwork with an eye-catching Day of the Dead theme. Barrio Queen's constantly updated tequila list includes over 400 different choices, the widest selection in the state.

                        Wonderful service, Brian took very good care of our table. Tasty tacos with many options, festive atmosphere. Great choice, would definitely come back!

                        We had reservations, arrived on time and we were promptly seated. There were very few diners inside so it surprised me that it took an inordinate amount of time to receive chips and salsa or to have a drink order taken. Once we did get our food order in, food arrived promptly. It was pretty mediocre with nothing special about any of the meals. I would hesitate to consider going again

                        Good food. Service was great until food arrived then our waitress was not around. Needed utensils for my daughter but never received. The bill took almost 20 minutes after we were done eating. Would go back because of the quality food hoping for better service.

                        We were a little underwhelmed - the food was very average and there isn't much ambiance. We had to get our main courses heated up since they were lukewarm. The waiter we had was very personable and provided good service. Overall, there are lots of better mexican restaurants in this price range.

                        The food is consistent, even tho the chain has been sold. Corporate, I assume? it does not change my opinion of the place and especially the food . Minor point, the chips could be better as the salsa is a 10.
