When the original Bascom came to Florida at the turn of the last century to help Henry Flagler build the Key West Railroad, he brought with him his love for thick cut chops and juicy steaks. During his travels he also discovered the bounties of fresh native Florida seafood.

We have brought all of his favorites together in a true American Chop House that pays tribute to Bascom's hearty appetite and a passion for great steaks, chops and fresh seafood.

In his honor, we have made Bascom's Chop House a comfortable, yet elegant, American restaurant. We are proud to offer a superbly crafted wine list and American Mid-Western beef, aged to our own exacting specifications to ensure the most tender and flavorful steaks served anywhere at any price. And, true to our Bascom's Chop House name, we also offer hand-cut veal, pork and lamb chops all prepared to perfection, as well as a great selection of native seafood delivered fresh daily.

    Our server Kristi was on point with our drinks and entrées. We dined on New Year’s Eve and the selection for the prefixed dinner was very selective. We all enjoyed our meals and desserts. Hope to come back to dine and choose from their regular menu selection. We were very impressed with Boscos’s!

    Horrible fiid, they ran out of everything we came in for on the NYE special menu, replacements were inedible. We thought the waiter was lousy, but figured out it was kitchen and management. Someone got promoted who shouldn't have.

    Our waitress Carla was funny, attentive, and joyful. Although we sat in three bar area and it's loud there, the food was delicious. Several managers stopped by to check on us throughout the meal.

    We really enjoy this restaurant. We did request a quiet table when we booked our reservations and this was not honored. We were seated next to a large group that was very loud. When asked if we could sit at a different table that was available, we were told we could not. There were many other tables available. The loud table with a cackling woman made our experience less than desirable. I did order the king cut prime rib which was extremely fatty. I asked to have it switched out for a better cut and the new cut was perfect!!! As always, the food was delicious and our server was great.

    We’ve been to Bascom’s several times, including last night for NYE. Service, as always, is impeccable. Food selection is excellent and cooked to perfection. Will always be in our top 3 restaurants when we dine out.

    We love going to Bascoms, what we didn't like for the New Years Menu is it was per person. A lot of people, like myself and myself and my husband, are on ozempic/ mounjaro and can't eat an entire meal. It was wasted food and over expense for us each to be forced to order full meals that we couldn't eat. I think that could have been accommodated. Overall, good dinner.

    The NYE dinner price jumped up like crazy this year. The food was very good.

    There were 5 of us for a pre fix menu for NYE. We had a 7:45 reservation. Service was terribly slow. We were there 3 hours! We never left until almost 11pm. It was my husbands birthday. They brought him the dessert menu and told him he could select a dessert of his choice. When he did the waiter returned and said they were unable to offer that that night? They never said why. They knew when I made the reservation, it was his birthday! 2 people ordered no onion with meal and they both had onion and had to be sent back. I ordered my steak medium and it was med well to well done. It took so very long to get the meal, I refused to send it back but it should have been adjusted. I have eaten here in the past and the food was very good. We paid for a nice dinner at $119 a plate but they just did not deliver quality service or food this time.

    The food at Bascom's is truly exquisite, but the service manages to surpass even that high standard. Despite the hustle and bustle of New Year's Eve—one of the busiest nights of the year—the Bascom's team was exceptional, handling everything with flawless precision. Glasses were kept full, dishes arrived hot and perfectly prepared, and every bite was absolutely delicious. It was the epitome of a classic fine dining experience.
