When the original Bascom came to Florida at the turn of the last century to help Henry Flagler build the Key West Railroad, he brought with him his love for thick cut chops and juicy steaks. During his travels he also discovered the bounties of fresh native Florida seafood.

We have brought all of his favorites together in a true American Chop House that pays tribute to Bascom's hearty appetite and a passion for great steaks, chops and fresh seafood.

In his honor, we have made Bascom's Chop House a comfortable, yet elegant, American restaurant. We are proud to offer a superbly crafted wine list and American Mid-Western beef, aged to our own exacting specifications to ensure the most tender and flavorful steaks served anywhere at any price. And, true to our Bascom's Chop House name, we also offer hand-cut veal, pork and lamb chops all prepared to perfection, as well as a great selection of native seafood delivered fresh daily.

    Dining at Bascom’s truly is a dining experience from start to finish. The staff and service were incredible. We were treated like VIP by everyone and I do feel that is rare in most restaurants today. But it doesn’t stop with top service and a great staff, the good was excellent as well. I ordered the porterhouse and it was cooked to my specifications. I accompanied it with the mushroom melody, glazed carrots, truffle fries and topped it off with a nice French Bordeaux. It’s not cheap but worth the price

    We had four people for a birthday party. We all enjoyed our meals along with some sharable sides, truffle French fried chips were amazing. The service at the bar and the table was very professional and attentive. We all will definitely go back very soon.

    Bascom’s is a great place to dine. The food is always prepared exactly as we’ve asked. We’ve dined there before and we always receive great service and very attentive wait staff.

    All the food is Amazing!! The staff is even more Amazing!! Set at the bar and have Randi and Jen wait on you! Thee BEST BAR staff around!!! You can’t go wrong at Bascoms!!!

    By far one of the best steakhouses I have been to. The french onion soup is perfection, the sides are fantastic, especially the au gratin potatoes and the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. The steak was cooked perfectly and the bone marrow truffle butter… incredible. The smoked old fashion complimented the whole evening. Do yourself a favor and eat here.
