Basso by PXK offers a contemporary Italian dining experience with a deep respect for tradition. Located in the heart of Chappaqua at 11 King Street, the restaurant is now under the culinary direction of Chef Peter X. Kelly.

Inspired by his extensive travels throughout Italy, from the Michelin-starred kitchens of Milan to the rustic trattorias of Tuscany, Chef Kelly brings a modern perspective to classic Italian dishes. He emphasizes the use of fresh, seasonal ingredients sourced from local farms and artisan producers within the Hudson Valley. Tagliolini Allo Scoglio, Burrata with prosciutto, Fettuccine Con Funghi Porcini e Spinaci, Linguine Alle Vongole & sorbet were excellent.

Dopo quasi una settimana in giro ci siamo lasciati tentare dal richiamo di casa. Ed è andata benissimo. Ottimo il cibo e il servizio. Il costo è ragionevole considerato il prodotto e la location.

Went for Mother Day with my wife and two grown children. The food was incredible service was great, the entire experience was amazing.

We had 12 courses of food at brunch - they just kept bringing things out. Really fun afternoon!

We went early to avoid the crowd and was fortunate to have done so. We had 5:30 reservation and let just before 7:00pm when it was getting very crowded and the noise level is reaching toward at a high level. Food was very good but on the heavy side. We had gotten used to the farm to table style at XO at Yonkers and had to adjust to the heavier style. Again food was very good and we took home what we could not finish.

Excellent food, even better the second time than the first. Highly recommend for brunch! Nice and not so loud crowd.
