We enjoyed another good meal. The steak was a little less than top quality. But everything else was good! The service was helpful and attentive.

It surely was wonderful to dine here today after being away for almost 6 months, the special was wonderful and the service as usual was amazing

It was a special day, my boyfriend’s 70 birthday. We had friends from out of town joining us. We picked Basta Pasta because we previously liked this restaurant. Everything was going fine until our food came. 3 out of 4 meals were fine. Unfortunately my boyfriend’s meal was not. He got the pasta with seafood and the shrimp were under cooked. It was very obvious to us all that the shrimp were undercooked. They were rubbery & not eatable. Another member of our party tried my boyfriend’s shrimp and agreed they were undercooked. We told our waiter who took his plate of food away and a few minutes the plate was returned. The shrimp was not replaced or cooked more the whole plate of food was obviously just warmed up and returned to us. Then a young very arrogant condescending gentleman came to our table and asked my boyfriend was the shrimp possibly overcooked???? NO as previously explained just a few minutes earlier it was uncooked. He basically said well here’s your food with NO resolution and left. We were all very shocked that there was no resolution to our dining experience. I was very upset this happened to my boyfriend when I planned a very nice birthday celebration for him. We were all disgusted, I paid our bill of over $240 and left and we will not be Returning to Basta Pasta. Extremely disappointed!!!!

Hi Kathy, I am very aware of your situation on Saturday night. We did not reheat the dish but remade it completely from scratch as we always do in situations similar to yours. When the food was dropped off at your table I noticed the 2 shrimp that your boyfriend had left on the side claiming to be undercooked. Judging by the color of the shrimp I politely asked if maybe those two were overcooked instead of undercooked (mind you this still makes it a mistake on our end). You responded no. Before leaving I said that I would check back on you in a couple of minutes if this time the dish was to your liking and to let me know if there is anything else I can do for you. Claiming "there was no resolution" is disrespectful to our establishment and our team. Regards, The "Arrogant Gentleman"

Waitress stood behind table, instead at the end of the table. Caused most to turn around to place order. Odd and uncomfortable, she was also training a new server. Wait staff is extremely inexperienced.

What a great night. We had our 2nd annual couples Valentine’s dinner last night and it did not disappoint! Our table was ready when we arrived early. Alex W provided us with excellent service and we are a tough group! He was so courteous and attentive. The food was excellent as always. We will be back next year (and my husband and I even sooner)! Thanks for a fantastic evening!

It was a great experience from the seater to the waitress. Smelled awesome in there. Great food. Big portions. A little pricey, but good. Good music and the owner thanked us for coming. Worth it.

Great service and food. Table was ready on time. It was an enjoyable evening celebrating a friend's bday. I did miss the chocolate cake, but we all got sundaes.
