Bastible is located just a short stroll from the landmark St Patricks Cathedral in the vibrant postcode of Dublin 8.
The restaurant overlooks the junction of Clanbrassil Street and South Circular Road in what was once the old Jewish quarter of Portobello.

Chef Killian Walsh leads the kitchen team and creates seasonal tasting menus using his varied and considerable industry experience. Bastible was awarded a coveted Michelin Star in 2022 and proudly retains it today.

Bastible's atmosphere is relaxed and inclusive. There is no required dress code and we pride ourselves on friendly and knowledgable service.

    Cibo e servizio ok, nella norma per un stellato. Unica nota negativa è la sala che puzzava. C'è una parte di cucina in sala ma la areazione non è all altezza e l'odore dei cibi cucinati sul momento si Mischiano a quello del cibo che avevo nel piatto. A fine serata i vestiti puzzavano.

    Outstanding meal for the three of us and our guest with the vegetarian menu LOVED her selections as we did ours. The restaurant team was very communicative ahead of our reservation to ensure menus were set and any accommodations made. The food and wine pairings were superb and we just loved our experience at Bastible. Don't miss this gem when in Dublin!

    Food was delicious and wine pairings were thoughtful/interesting. General vibe was relaxed and the service was excellent. We had such a lovely time!

    Bastible was recommended to us by a Dublin friend and eating here was one of the highlights of our weekend in the city. Fantastic food with inventive flavour combinations, pared down, hip vibe and a really joyful, unpretentious atmosphere. What really struck us was the obvious joy the staff feel about their work, from the chefs in the tiny front kitchen to the team of friendly servers - it comes through on the plate and all round! Definitely recommend.

    We had an outstanding culinary night at Bastible. The hostess was wonderfully thoughtful and incredibly kind. The food was Michelin-star quality, and the wine pairing was a big success! When visiting Dublin again, we'll be sure to dine at Bastible once more!

    Great place, nice atmosphere, excellent staff. Food was great however not perfect and at that price point there are expectations :)

    Really great experience without the fussiness not Molly associated with this kind of dining. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff as well.

    Flavors that are in every dish are incredible. Lot of thought gone into creating each dish in tasting menu

    Fantastic, taster meal with wine paring and the staff are wonderful and all for a very reasonable price for a Michelin star restaurant.
