Described as "Brazil in Cleveland", Batuqui is in the heart of Cleveland, OH and emphasizes the cuisines of the Bahia and Minas Gerais states of Brazil. Set in a casual but appealing dining room, there is also a full bar with custom cocktails.

The menu at Batuqui is full of exciting and unique choices and they are known for their authentically grilled top sirloin steak called Picanha. They offer appetizers like the Frango Passarinho which is fired chicken in a cilantro sauce or the Salgadinhos which are savory hand-rolled Brazilian bar snacks and entrees like the hearty traditional Brazilian party dish called Feijoada. They have fantastic salads and an array of intriguing Brazilian entrees. Choices include fish, vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options in addition to the grilled meats and Brazilian steaks that make Batuqui such an appealing spot. Love desserts? Their homemade chocolate bon bons called Brigadeiros or Coconut Butter Cake are amazing too!

This restaurant is absolutely cozy and intimate. Per for a romantic date. The cuisine was delicious and authentic and the waitress was amazing! Can’t wait to come back to try other menu options.

A special place to celebrate anything, including the everyday. It’s unique, cozy, home-like vibe invites you to settle in for before dinner drinks, appetizer, entrees, dessert and topped off with Port and espresso. Plan to linger.

I always have a wonderful dining experience at Batuqui. The cozy atmosphere makes it feel wonderful and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. Food was absolutely delicious— flavorful and beautifully presented. The attention to detail in both the food and service truly stands out. If you're looking for a charming spot with great Brasilian food, I highly recommend Batuqui. Obrigado!

What a pleasant experience. Our waitress was so helpful and friendly. The Mussels Diablo was outstanding- just enough heat. The Feijoada (Brazilian Party Dish) was full of favor. My wife have the steak special and it was very tender. Worth the trip and will go back!

Easy reservation is always a good start to the dining experience. The food was great, the passion fruit caipirinha delicious. Will definitely come back!
