We’re delighted to introduce Bavette. A neighbourhood bistro filled with warm engaging hospitality, with a menu of seasonally led classically driven dishes.

We hope to get that balance of generosity and quality right - that juxtaposition of every day special.

Bavette is a love letter to our favourite places we’ve been to and been lucky enough to be a part of.

Starters and dessert nice. Main course a salt fest. Wine was ok. Service good. Not the wow factor given the publicity and the price point.

Amazing food knowledgeable helpful and friendly staff. Only downside was the cold draught every time the door opened

Third time at Bavette. Bit disappointed today: saucisson brioche starter bland, tarte tatin dessert overcooked. Shame but maybe losing attention to detail after a well received start. At £200 for lunch for 2 needs to be consistently excellent and just wasn't. Hope this was just a blip....

3rd time I've been and another phenomenal meal. Bavette is the best restaurant. Love it!

Just incredible as always, my first time trying the Sunday lunch and it was the best I’ve ever had. The quality of the beef and the celeriac puree were just amazing. My mums first visit and she can’t wait to return!

Friendly welcome on our second visit to our new favourite bistro. Charming and knowledgeable explanation of the new dishes to us on the menu which felt a personal touch. Attentive and chatty service throughout the meal. Our varied choice of starters were all very good. Some big flavours accompanying the mains, especially the delicious duck. Portion sizes perfect for our healthy appetites. Overall another great experience for a small family celebration. Many thanks, hope to see you again soon.

Fabulous French bistro. Superb service - really relaxed, helpful and all round great. The food is wonderful - seasonal and so delicious. I’m vegetarian and was delighted with all 3 courses being roast vegetables tart, goats cheese pithivier and Paris Brest for dessert. My non veggie friends were super impressed too. First visit but definitely won’t be the last as this is my new favourite restaurant.
