                                                                        Meeting a friend in ROSEMONT (halfway point for both) but didn't want the hassle of the big entertainment district on Saturday night. This place is a hotel restaurant and just overall not good. The hostess / manager was welcoming but that's about it. Our waitress wasn't great. Poor menu selection and the prime rib sandwich was too spicy and salty (which they at least comped).

                                                                        Our serve was EXTREMELY slow. My daughters burger was burnt. I had to find our server to show her that we needed it addressed. My steak was over charred and over sauced and tasted like Salisbury steak. My friends pasta tasted like it had been sitting in pasta water for longer than necessary. I put a note that we were celebrating my friends recent engagement and though I understand that some restaurants don't address special occasions, it was an option for selection when making the reservation (special occasion). We were never asked how our meal was and there was no manager, that I could find, to address the issue like an adult. We both left the restaurant disappointed.

                                                                        It is difficult to tell which was worse at this restaurant, the service or the food. The nice thing about having dined there once is that it makes it totally unnecessary to go again!
