   Lovely quiet lunch spot on Charles Street in Beacon Hill. Great place to meet someone for a business conversation or catch up. Staff is welcoming, service on point and food quite tasty at reasonable prices. Worth a visit!

   Beacon Hill Bistro was our favorite brunch spot. We obviously hadn’t been in some time because the restaurant changed the name, menu and ownership and completely went down hill. The poor selection of brunch food is over priced. The food wasn’t good nor was the “Bloody Mary”. It’s too bad that Boston lost one of the best brunch spots.

   The food is always consistently excellent. The halibut and the chicken are two of my favorite dishes. Ambiance and service are also both great.

   Party of 3 - What a gem in the heart of the neighborly Beacon Hill. Drinks and cocktails were very delicious. I loved the truffle fries which were thick & crispy yet fluffy inside. My wife had the Caesar salad w/Salmon and she says it was spot-on and lovely!! Chocolate covered cheesecake for dessert!! Everything was wonderful!! Thanks for your hospitality

   Brunch selection was very good. They need to learn to warm plates before serving. Home fries were tepid, eggs only warm.

   We hadn’t been to this restaurant for several years and it was obvious the management had changed. The major problem was the service. Our server did not come to the table and we had to ask someone to find her. She finally came over and asked if we were ready to order. We said we would like to start with cocktails. She asked if we were also ready to order food. We told her we wanted cocktails first. She seemed put out. When she brought our drinks she pushed us to order, so we did along with a bottle of wine. The kitchen started to bring the food before we finished our drinks. Then, there was no wine and no server. We finally had to flag down another server to ask for our wine. The wine should have been brought soon after we ordered and opened to breathe. The manager came over to look up our wine and brought it a glasses, some of which were wet. The lamb was uncooked and the halibut was overcooked. The server passed by a couple of times but always seem disinterested. She was also dressed in distressed jeans which did not seem appropriate for the restaurant. It’s too bad because this is a nice location and a nice space.

   Amazing decline from the opening a few years ago. Food is consistent but the wait staff and management are atrocious. Sad.

    Nice staff. Asked for my salmon to be medium rare it was overdone and the wine (Sancerre) was awful. Not a Sancerre and if it was it was an old one. Not a tough meal to do well.
