   Locale curato ed accogliente, prezzi alti quanti in tutta la zona. Pizza davvero buona ma le polpette erano piene di pepe e la focaccia che accompagnava era cruda. La pizza era davvero buona però.

   We are not normally “foodies” but this was 11 out of 10 experience made us feel like it! • We ordered two chopped salads that were fresh and had the perfect amount of dressing • Then we had amazing Neapolitan-style Greek pizza with the freshest of ingredients like chopped peppers, Kalmata olives, feta cheese, mozzarella cheese & tomatoes of course, but it was the thin, perfect slightly-burnt crust that made it a delicious “high end” pizza. As a person from New Haven, CT, it’s often hard to find great pizza elsewhere, but this was the real deal! • We had the local craft beer IPA and a California Pinot that were both delicious. • It felt like a very healthy farm-to-table kind of a vibe and they let us bring our dog on the patio under the cool Edison lights. And the patio was kid friendly for the family next to us. • To top it off, the service was very friendly and attentive. Top notch! A perfect meal after a long road trip!!

   Bear and the Wren is consistently delicious. With a simple yet well executed menu, knowledgeable staff and fresh ingredients the meal never disappoints. The star is the Detroit style pizza. Impossibly light, airy and not a bit greasy each bite is perfect in texture with delicious toppings. Don't sleep on the smoky vegetable starter and the meatballs may be the best item on the menu, no small feat. The servers are well versed on all aspects of the operation and are quick to engage in conversation about the processes that make this a great pizza experience. This is a must have spot on any trip to SLO and is quite reasonably priced given the quality of the meal.

   Wonderful wood-roasted dishes! The pizza is awesome but so are the veggie dishes. The brocollini was amazing. Also loved the little gem salad!

   The food was amazing. We had the broccolini and sausage pizza, and smoked greens. For two, it was plenty. We took 2 pieces of pizza home. Great atmosphere, long waits so make reservations. Great service. Only issue was our table was extremely off balance so anytime we moved, we had to hold our drinks to keep them from spilling.

   It was such a delightful meal. The lemonade, oh my gosh!!!!!! The Bee Stang and Sausage and Pepperoni pizzas, so amazing!! And the cookie skillet, don’t even get me started. All outstanding. Also, big shoutout to Addie for giving us an unforgettable experience! Bear and the Wren, you did it again.

    Food was AMAZING and the service was great! The food came out so fast we barely had time in between our appetizers and main dish.
