We showed up at our reservation time to the location on Russell Square, and the location had been completely shut down! Building appears empty. Very strange to us, since I received a message from opentable to confirm the reservation. We definitely had a reservation for this location. We were disappointed, having come in to London that day on vacation, but found a nice pub around the corner.

It was insanely hot and humid when we went, though I adjusted by the end of our afternoon tea. Great value, lots of cakes, very flexible with food allergies.

What a lovely atmosphere with such kind, helpful staff! We were early and they managed to adjust on the fly - we were soon seated with hot tea and a wonderful tower of tea things. Recommended all the way!

We went to Bea´s since we had been to the old tea room but the new Bea´s was a big disappointment. Expensive afternoon tea and the tea room was very ugly. No atmosphere at all. Would never go there again nor tell a friend. The bread was dry but the cakes were very good.

The tea room looks very cozy. The service is very friendly. The afternoon tea, however, is far too expensive for what they offer. The products are not very special and it did not seem very fresh either. Very unfortunate for so much money (€78, for 2). I didn't think it was worth it.

We had a lovely afternoon tea experience for my sister in law & family to celebrate her getting married soon. Food was amazing & the staff were fantastic, we will be back soon!

Lovely venue with a really great selection of cakes. Lunch menu is however disappointing. I ordered a cheese and pickle sandwich which had almost no cheese at all in it - just a huge amount of butter and pickle. Very disappointed that Bea’s skimp on the main ingredients - no excuse for that. My friend had smashed avocado on toast which was average.

We had a lovely time at Bea's of Bloomsbury . Our waitress was so kind and helpful. I think her name was Tunde. My friend is blind and Tunde was so helpful and gave a description of the cakes and was very interactive. We had a lovely time and will be back again.
