An exotic neighborhood escape with globetrotting cuisine, tropical cocktails, bohemian interiors, and a great place to watch sports in Chicago’s West Town.

Named after the Bohemian freethinkers of the 1950s and ’60s, Beatnik West Town channels the Beatnik generation’s sense of style, aspiration, and rebellion to create an exotic escape with maximalist interiors and lush gardens.

Mirroring our design-through-storytelling whimsy, Beatnik’s culinary team takes guests on a globetrotting journey that starts in the Eastern Mediterranean, moves westward across Northern Africa and finishes across the Atlantic with the flavors of Mexico.

Beatnik’s beverage team makes tropical cocktails that are savory and fresh, with inventive recipes that follow a no-waste sensibility. Our wine list is a compact attaché that contains the story of winemakers who make wine in lesser-known regions of the Mediterranean and the Americas.

1st time hear celebrating my best Friend's birthday and yes they Didn't charge us for the dessert but all the server did was put a candle on it and come out and hand it to her no special song or Even say Happy Birthday just lit the candle and put it down in front of her and walked away. Grateful for the dessert but It would have been nice to sing a little Happy Birthday or make it a little special for her since it was a milestone birthday. When I asked about things on the menu the server seemed bothered that I asked...we never been here so I was asking what he suggests. Maybe he had something on his mind but they AUTOMATICALLY ADD 18% gratuity to your bill so I assume that's why he really didn't care. I tipped in addition to that added gratuity but the service on this 1st experience was not warm or welcoming. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was amazing that I would give 5 stars the drinks during happy hour were also very tasty we will be back...and hopefully we will experience better service. The food was spot on...loved it!!

We love Beatnik! Got married there in 2022 and make an annual reservation when we are in town celebrating anniversary!

We dined as a group of 14 people and the whole team was so accommodating and attentive to us despite how large we were! It was very spacious and we were not rushed or crowded in at all. I had to give a 3 overall because of the food and value. I thought the food was extremely overpriced and for most of the dishes a small amount of food given the price. I would highly recommend all of the spreads, and most everything I tasted was tasty, but given the price I did not think it was worth it. I feel like this place is made for being a corporate expensed meal

This was the first time at this location and really enjoyed it, liked it even more than the one on Wacker. The food was really delicious I especially enjoyed the cinnamon roll. $7 for a cup of coffee is excessive and as my friend said charging cappuccino prices for black coffee is too much. Please get a cappuccino maker.
