Beatrix is a neighborhood coffeehouse, restaurant and meeting place in Chicago’s River North, Streeterville, Fulton Market and Oak Brook neighborhoods. The restaurant is the brainchild of Lettuce Entertain You Enterprises’ Founder Rich Melman, Executive Partner and Divisional President Marc Jacobs and Chef Partners John Chiakulas, Rita Dever and Susan Weaver. The menu features healthy meets delicious options, and is known for its iconic coffee and bakery counter, including signature cookies, in-house pastry favorites and our house blends from Beatrix Coffee Roasters, featuring Light, Dark, Espresso and Decaf roasts.

                                                                      So yummy! Perfect brunch spot for my birthday. Definitely busy so get a reservation. Didn’t feel ignored or anything, the service was fantastic. Checked on multiple times and treated very nicely. Didn’t get “kicked out” either!

                                                                      I always love the food and service at Beatrix! The Mexican mocha is my favorite coffee drink, and the apple oatmeal cookie is so tasty and unique! Their homemade chicken sausage is also fantastic! I noticed the menu prices recently went up by about $2 per each menu item (March 2025). The restaurant is also still charging a restaurant surcharge which most other places have stopped doing.

                                                                      Excellent! Roger learned that I was sad about some news shared with him and he had the kindest gesture ever. He made my day a little brighter and extended hope to my day. Thank you for your kindness Roger you are a light in this world. Good was delicious as always. Beatrix never disappoints. Loved the appetizer so much ordered 3!
