   The rooftop bar in itself is lovely and it has so much potential. Unfortunately beckets have made some odd decisions like charging 12.5% service but not actually providing table service. You have to queue at the bar and take your drinks to your own table. You can’t get in without a booking, so their website says but when you book no one is there to greet you, check you in and no table is reserved for you. The drinks are good but the bar staff are moody and rude. Honestly, a total wasted opportunity

   Didn’t have food so unable to rate but no option but to select one star! Quiet as a weekday early evening but bar staff said weekends you require a reservation. Good views of cathedral & beyond. Not table service!

   I reserved a table for our group of 4 for drinks only as we were guests in the hotel and we had been excited to try the rooftop bar. On arrival there was no one to explain where we were sitting so had to wait in the queue at the bar. We were told we were reserved on the table next to the bar. The table was extremely cramped and I had to really squeeze in the corner to get on the chair. My husband then had to queue at the bar again for drinks which we then had to rush them as it took so long in queues twice at the bar we were running late for our meal booked in the city. We found the bar very loud and noisy. We were a bit disappointed with our experience but not put off returning as on a warmer evening sitting outside may be a totally different experience.

   Drinks were lovely and it’s a beautiful setting. I have no issue with ordering at the bar but as there was seven of us, I think really, particularly as it was almost empty, they should have brought our drinks over to us. But still, overall a lovely time.

   We booked a table and waited 20 minutes for someone to appear at the bar. When we then did get a drink the serve wasn't great at all. Wouldn't come back

   Relaxing area lovely cocktails and a beautiful view,a bit of a wait for drinks but overall a lovely experience

   We didn’t dine, we had drinks in the rooftop bar. Quiet at 17.15 but we expected that. Lovely bar, staff friendly. On warmer evenings it would be glorious to sit outside. Suggestions for improvement? We had to go to bar to be served, drinks brought over - but as quiet it would have been nice to get table service ? Also, we were drinking Champagne, I think the heavy Utilitarian chunky catering flutes should be saved for ‘other’ sparkling wine and some nicer more classy ones used for champagne to make it special 😀 I think the type and quality of glasses for drinks says a lot about an establishment. Those are my thought though overall a lovely experience .

   Beautiful decor, wonderful ambience, fabulous service and delicious cocktails overlooking the stunning cathedral! Perfect spot for a rooftop bar! Would 100% recommend and we will definitely be returning 🙂

    Didn’t dine there stayed in hotel website says open till 12 went up11.30 to be greeted with we are closed you can take a bottle of beer to your room , till then it was good
