                                                                                        Good meal and service, but very tight and uncomfortable table/chair positioning. Waiting crowd of arrivals hovering around and bumping into our table. Very disappointed in that aspect.

                                                                                        The three of us thoroughly enjoyed our visit. I had made a Friday night reservation for 2 at 6:15, but our plans changed slightly and since we were already a block away at the Peabody Essex Museum, we walked straight there instead of calling ahead. We arrived at 5 as a party of 3. We were seated immediately with a "No problem" response to the change. The waitress was a highlight. She was friendly and very helpful in explaining the dishes. She freely shared her preferences. I chose one of them but substituted chicken for the pork. No problem. The meals came quickly and all three were enjoyed. There were plenty of leftovers, which I'm thinking about as I write this. The waitress made sure we were happy and responded quickly to requests. We'll be back.

                                                                                        I was a bit upset that there was only a limited menu last night... I would've made reservations elsewhere, had I known that in advance. Also, the "Pollo & Chicken" had a very fishy taste.

                                                                                        Cosy and authentic Italian restaurant - with a good choice of pasta and entrees including unusual entrees the evening we went that included rabbit stew with home-made pappardelle and trout. I LOVED the trout - served with a nice dish of perfectly cooked vegetables. Very friendly service. The dining area is warm (not always the case in restaurants in mid-winter) and could be romantic if you are going with a date! Good wine list. All in all a very nice evening and good value for money. Not a “red sauce with everything” Italian place at all - no need to go to the North End.. this was better!
