Welcome to Belle & Maxwell’s. For over the past 25 years, we have taken great pride in preparing our signature dishes and the daily specials we offer to our customers. We are a West Palm Beach, Florida-based restaurant nestled in heart of Antique Row. We proudly support local farmers and businesses in our town. Quaint place with good ambience but the portions were small for the price. Service was good and a vibrant space.

The menu was varied, competitively priced, and the ambiance was lovely. Service was extremely slow, and gratuity is automatic 20%. I don’t mind that, however, our drinks ran dry repeatedly, requests went unanswered, and it was a chore to get the server’s attention. I would def go back and hope that this was just an off night- it did seem our server was helping tables in the main dining room and also on the back patio, so perhaps spread a bit too thin.

Great ambience. Noise level was great …you can have a conversation and hear the person talking. Food was very flavorful! Enjoyed every bite. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will be coming back.

We really enjoyed Belle and Maxwell’s it is an eclectic small restaurant on the Dixie Hwy corridor south of downtown. The food was very flavorful, portion size was very good, and service was great! The issue was accuracy between the entree description and the final product. The Baked Brie (which was excellent) with crackers came with sliced bread; while the Mahi Mahi special was to be served with artichoke and Brussel Sprouts, which actually came with yellow squash and zucchini. They were also out of the two dishes we planned on ordering (coconut shrimp and filet for the warm steak salad) which also impacted the overall rating. Once again the food was very good, but, expectations were not met!

Great menu! At this time of year, the outside space is lovely! Service always excellent. Our favorite go to in WPB.

Unfortunately, while the service and food were excellent, the owner of the restaurant was awful. She had a sour face on the entire night. She was walking around through the restaurant.Never had a smile on her face, not one time.The entire time we were there. She looked people in the eye, including us here and there with a judgmental look and no smile. Horrible. One person in our party had to ask a question, and when they asked her, she said to ask someone else. At that point I decided not to return or to refer this restaurant to anyone. I am a business owner and I smile all day until my face hurts... Like it or not. When people go to dinner, they are looking for an enjoyable experience. Ambiance service and food. Unfortunately, even though everything else was very good. The owner with that attitude was ruining the evening.

Service was professional and polite over all nice experience the food had no flavor and the portions were skimpy child size they could improve and the place decor wise could use some improvement probably not going back not worth money

Restaurant was empty when we got there, was seated right away and had our drink orders taken and then waited 30 minutes before having our order taken. Mind you another couple was seated after us and their order was taken before us. I was about to get up to talk to the host and the waiter finally came over. They weren’t even that busy. We got our food and it was super bland. Upon our exit of the restaurant the host didn’t say goodbye or acknowledge us either. Will not be back.
