We decided to go out to Benny’s on the Beach - Pier together and had some drinks. They were decent, but overpriced. The appetizer was good, average cost. Service was extremely slow. Meal was average, on the higher cost end. Would we go back? Likely not …we’d rather go to a dive bar and enjoy ourselves. The view of course is amazing and the sun and wind felt great, having just arrived from Chicago.

This was a great restaurant and loved the atmosphere. My only concern was I attempted to buy two tank tops and couldn't get any to help me. The wait staff tried to ask the manager who snapped at him and said "I am a manager, I am the busiest person in here and i can't." i felt bad for him and put them back.

We had a side table outside with no view. Since it was windy, we asked to go indoors. We were moved to a horribly noisy indoor spot with absolutely NO ATMOSPHERE at all. One of the main reasons to go to Benny’s is the atmosphere. Our waiter was terrific and the food was very good.

It was delicious! Long wait time, but they were busy. We did indicate a birthday and were hoping for free cake which never materialised. Still, we had a great time!

We have visited this restaurant many times and have had a level 10 experience but last night was not a 10. Our waitress came right away with water and asked if we wanted a drink . We asked her to give us a minute but she didn’t come back in 25 minutes. She was watching a proposal on the beach with a group of other waitresses. Since it was so windy and our waitress hadn’t come back, my husband asked the hostess if our party of 4 could dine inside. We were told yes we could go upstairs. Well upstairs, a waitress brought water again . the waitress came back about 10 minutes later for drink and food order. Our food was served 31 minutes later. It took too much time to pay, however we did note she was very busy. She was pleasant. In all it took from 6-7:30 for our meals and to pay.

Terrible first visit. We were seated upstairs when I requested outside, it was stuffy and loud. It took our server 20 minutes to get us water. The food portions were small and expensive. Our server did not come back for twenty minutes after our food was served to us, we never got the chance to ask for butter for our steamed shrimp. My fish tacos were tasty but a complete mess due to the coleslaw, wet all over plate, myself and table. The linguine seafood was a joke, looked like a kids meal. Calamari was soggy. Drinks were expensive and lacked alcohol.
