Delicious food in a comfortable and historic atmosphere. The village of Berlinsville was once known as Lehighville. The name was changed to Berlinsville in honor of Abraham Berlin III. One the landmarks, the Berlinsville Hotel was once a stagecoach stop, a farmhouse and a doctor's office. It was built in 1761 and is still in use today as a restaurant and tavern. A large rock on property west of Berlinsville, known as Apps, (near Poplar Dr. and Hickory Rd.) is known as Council Rock which was used by Native Americans for meetings and ceremonial purposes.

Sandwiches are beyond expectation in flavor and quantity and best of all the pricing is fair and reasonable. Hard surfaces make it sometimes hard to converse. Overall the Berlinsville H is am enjoyable and tasty experience.

                                                                                                                                      This was our first time here. Stopped in for lunch. We were really impressed. It's a beautifully decorated old inn. The menu is full of comfort food & drinks. My husband loved the French onion soup. His cheesesteak was huge & juicy. He enjoyed the tasty fries that came with it. I had a BLT which was full of crisp bacon, fresh iceberg, & a thick slice of ripe tomato. My sides were pierogies (homemade?)sauteed in butter & onions plus a large portion of housemade potato chips. YUM! We definitely will be back!!

                                                                                                                                      Table off balance... annoying Waited 10 minutes at table before acknowledged by a waitress . Had to ask for utensils after meal arrived. Offered no glass with bottled beer Loud upstairs Overcharge error on bill, but corrected when we mentioned it. Although all this happened the food was very good and therefore would recommend.... but will mention the negatives.

                                                                                                                                      I was looking forward to visiting Berlinsville Hotel. It started out well, but then the wait for our food was very long. In fact, I saw three ladies served their food and leave before we received our food. We had ordered sandwiches, nothing fancy. At the very least the waitress should have informed us about a possible long delay. What a shame that not communicating the facts about the slow service whatever they may have been, resulted in much disappointment for me.

The prime rib was absolutely amazing and melts in your mouth. Love the homemade mashed potatoes and gravy. Veggies are cooked perfectly. We found our new favorite spot!
