   This was our second time visiting, and it was just as good as the first. Service was great, and the food is worth every single penny.

   Every bite was amazingly delicious. We wanted to try every item on the menu! This spot is a gem of Edmonton's restaurant scene and a prime example of Indigenous excellence.

   We opted for the tasting menu so we could experience a variety of what they create. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. The timing of the courses and the wait in between was perfect. My husband did the wine pairings, and they were good, but most were not to his personal taste. My only complaint is that the serving sizes for a tasting menu were huge. Each course on the tasting menu is the same size as if you ordered that item from the regular menu. By the fifth course, I was full. I couldn't even touch the steak course. It would be great if there were an option for a smaller tasting menu version. This smaller version would also save on overall cost. All that food makes for a pricey night out, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff at Bernadette's are doing something great and should be very proud of what they have created!

   Food was terrific - very interesting dishes, and great flavours. Also had great wines. Service was excellent. Server was very informative and attentive.

   The food was delicious. We tried the oysters, raw elk, scallops, potato dumplings with rabbit ragu and the salmon. The scallops were amazing. Unfortunately, the salmon was slightly soggy and overpowered by the bed of puréed beets. The staff were quick to correct this and offered us complimentary bubbly and a supplementary dish, which was a nice touch. The service was great. The cocktails and wine were also delicious. The space is cozy but very small and the tables are very close together. Although it’s pricier than the average fine dining experience, overall, it is a must try.

   Very unique and pleasant dining experience. Small restaurant with an intimate atmosphere. Sound baffles are used so it is no 4000 decibels like many places are. There are no stupid TV screens showing stupid ice hockey. Food is unique and tasty with an indigenous take on dishes. Staff is friendly, helpful, and courteous. Highly recommend supporting this local gem.

   It's difficult to write a review about this place, because it felt like there was an extreme difference between the level and quality of the food and - everything else, really. On the one hand, the food was great. My wife and I are big foodies, and we recently moved to Edmonton. We've had some of the best dishes we had in Edmonton here. On the other hand, we had our reservation for 20:30 - at 21:00, the kitchen was already closed. We've ordered seven dishes to share, and they just came out one after the other, with not a second of break between them, and with food piling on the table - to the point where the food got cold. The staff started cleaning while we were there, and quickly turned the music to something loud and uncomfortable. We had the feeling that the staff simply wanted to close up as quickly as possible and for us to leave. Since the two of us came there to celebrate my wife's birthday, we were left disappointed - despite the great food - and went somewhere else later.
